Annual General Meeting for Owners of PCC 110

The Annual General Meeting of the unit owners of the Peel Condominium Corporation No. 110 (The “Corporation”) will be held “Virtually” (Zoom) on Monday, March 20, 2023. Registration will commence at 6:30 pm and the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will start at 7:00pm.

Registration will take place electronically and the relevant links have been emailed to all owners who have provided their email addresses to the Corporation. If more than one owner from the same unit wishes to attend the meeting, then both owners must register. Once registered, the unit owners will receive a link to attend the meeting.

Unit owners who wish to participate in the AGM but are unable to register for the meeting electronically are advised to inform the property manager. The property manager will then make necessary arrangements to provide those unit owners with dial-in information in order to allow residents to participate in the AGM by telephone.


The proposed Agenda is as follows:

1) Call to Order and appointment of Chair

2) Proof of Notice of Meeting.

3) Registrar's Report.

4) Introduction of head table.

5) Appointment of Recording Secretary.

6) Appointment of two Scrutineers (Exceed Quorum will act as Scrutineers)

New Assistant Superintendent

Dear Residents,

It's with pleasure that we announce Maria Saliba has joined our team as Assistant Superintendent at PCC 110 effective Feb 1, 2023. 

Maria has worked as a cleaner at PCC 110 since June 2021 and has over 10 years of industry experience as an Assistant Superintendent.

We are excited to have Maria come on board.

Elevator Modernization Project

The elevator 2 car is back in service. All the button lights will be functional now. The next elevator modernization will be on Car #1 starting next week.

Elevator Modernization Project


The upcoming elevator modernization project is tentatively commencing the week of September 26, 2022. The tentative completion date is June 30, 2023.

 

During the first two (2) weeks of the project, our contractor will rig/hoist heavy equipment to the elevator machine room. This work phase is usually the noisiest part of the project but ensures all new elevator equipment is safely moved into place.

 

We greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding, and we will do our best to minimize the shut down time.

Extension of Expiry Date of Temporary Virtual Meeting Provisions to September 30, 2023 

The Government of Ontario has made regulatory amendments under the Condominium Act, 1998 (Condo Act) and four other statutes which extend the effective period of temporary legislative provisions permitting corporations governed under these statutes to call and hold meetings virtually, as applicable, notwithstanding certain restrictions or requirements. The effective period of these temporary legislative provisions has now been extended to September 30, 2023.

New Smoking Rule Introduced for PCC 110

The pandemic has been a long and difficult time for everyone, but we have some good news. Effective April 1, 2022, the amenities listed below will be open.


PCC 110 will continue to comply with any advice, recommendations and instructions issued by the Chief Medical Officer of Health including: physical distancing, cleaning, and disinfecting.


Just a reminder, PCC 110 currently has a mask and distancing policy in place (until further notice) for all residents, guests, employees are to wear mask while on the common elements.
